Parents play an essential role in the success of our choral department. We request one parent for each child enrolled in choir to volunteer for at least one event during the school year. Your support is crucial in ensuring our choir program runs smoothly and thrives.
To sustain and enhance our choir program, we rely on the support of dedicated parents like you. This year, we need to fill 208 volunteer positions, which involve various time commitments totaling up to 589 hours. Your involvement directly benefits the choir program and, in turn, supports your child's experience.
Sign-ups for these opportunities are managed through CutTime. All key parents leading committees will receive early access to seating for themselves and their families at our choir concerts.

Our Choir Parent Organization is led by a small group of dedicated parents who work hard to assist in the success of the choir program at Mountain View. However, we cannot do it alone. We rely on the assistance of other parents like you to help make decisions, offer insight, and assist in the planning and execution of the many events our students are involved in each year.
Attend our monthly meetings to stay informed and get involved. Meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the large choir room. Check our calendar page for exact dates. To view our meeting notes and agendas, click here.
Meet the dedicated parents who lead our Choir Parent Organization, supporting our choir program through events, fundraising, and more.
Tashia Glenn
President
Tashia Glenn and her husband Brett are approaching their 20th wedding anniversary. They are proud parents of six children: two of whom, Shelbie and Makinzie, participated in the choir program at Mountain View all four years, with Makinzie also graduating from the conservatory program.
Their son Trenton is a sophomore at Red Mountain High School, while daughter Adie is a freshman currently in Mr. Neumann's class at Mountain View. Their two younger children, Teagan and Grayson, are still in elementary school.
Tashia’s involvement with the Choir Parent Organization stems from her passion for supporting her children’s activities and being part of a supportive community. Her professional background as an administrative accountant, specializing in budgets and financial reporting, enhances her contributions to the board.
Outside of choir, Tashia and her family enjoy camping, riding quads, and playing games, with favorites including DnD, Minecraft, and Sci-Fi movies like Lord of the Rings and Marvel.
Margo Edgeworth
Vice-President
Margo and her husband, Trevin, have a daughter in 12th grade who’s fully immersed in Mountain View's choir program. Their daughter, Katelyn, is a member of both Encore and Chorale and has participated in Mountain View's Music Conservatory Program for the past 3 years. Katelyn has also been a member of the Regional and All State Choirs since her freshman year of high school.
Margo is inspired by the rich tradition of choral excellence that Mountain View students, families, and directors have established. She joined the Choir Parent Organization to support her daughter’s love for music and to contribute to the ongoing success of the choir program, building on the strong foundation laid by those who came before her.
Margo runs her own company, Edgeworth Films, where she crafts documentary-style films that beautifully capture and celebrate the life stories of individuals and couples, ensuring their memories are preserved and cherished for generations to come.
She loves composing and arranging music and can often be found serving as an accompanist for various vocalists or her church choir. One of her dreams is to write a musical, blending her passion for storytelling and music.
Maeser Anderson
Treasurer
Maeser Anderson and his wife Savanna are the proud parents of four exceptional children, two of whom have participated in the MVT Choir. His oldest daughter, Bailee, is a senior this year and is thoroughly enjoying her time in choir.
Maeser believes that the choir directors at MVT are among the best in the entire state of Arizona. Their talent, passion, and genuine care for the students inspire him. As Bailee's final year approaches, Maeser is eager to get involved and contribute, driven by the potential for great achievements within the program.
Professionally, Maeser works as a Financial Representative for Pacific Life Advisors, where he helps individuals and businesses secure personal and business lines of protection. He finds his work rewarding, as it allows him to make a positive impact daily.
In his personal time, Maeser is passionate about presidential history. He loves learning about U.S. presidents and is working on a dream project: a three-act play that aims to highlight the commonalities among individuals who have held the office of president.
Ben Gibson
Secretary
Ben is a single dad of three great teenage kids, two of whom, Bryn and Lu, are students at Mountain View and actively involved in the Choir Program. After participating in a choir trip this past spring, he recognized the importance of getting involved with the Choir Parent Organization. During that trip, he connected with other parents and was invited to lend a hand.
As a Custom Home Builder in the Valley, he enjoys his career and brings his organizational skills from running his small business to his role as Secretary on the Choir Parent Association Board.
In his free time, he enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, and hiking in Arizona’s beautiful landscapes.
Jaime Evans
Holiday Dinner Chair
Jaime Evans has a deep connection to our choir program. She has two choir graduates, one senior, and one freshman currently involved in the choir.
Jaime’s involvement in the Choir Parent Organization stems from her desire to support her children’s passion for music. As a mom, she excels at multitasking, making lists, and getting things done—skills she brings to her role on the board.
Fun fact: Despite being nervous about singing in her youth, Jaime’s choir friends and the inspiring direction of Mr. Perry helped her overcome her fears and develop a love for performing. She fondly remembers her transformative experiences with the MVHS choir in the 1990s.
